Trapper's Cabin
This is a one room hunting & fishing cabin we built on a small high plains reservoir south of Vedauwoo, WY. Using rich cherry wood, we hand-built everything, from the doors and windows, to the cabinetry and most of the furniture. The soapstone housed wood stove has a nice little smoker oven to cook the day's catch, or if you need to, you can fix breakfast on the vintage gas stove we meticulously restored. Not a bad place to spend a few nights.
Ranch Boathouse
We built this boathouse and dock on a private reservoir prior to the water coming up full pool. We designed and engineered everything from the structure's 33 galvanized 'y' posts and tension cables to the dual option boat-lift structure. We also installed a large solar aeration system to improve the lake water during dry seasons and through the winter months. We sheathed the boathouse with lumber milled from Ponderosa taken from the surrounding acres.
Bobcat Ridge Chapel
This was a fun and difficult project. We hand hewed all the timbers and built using stone from the very hillside where the chapel stands. The views across the rugged landscape below are more than impressive.
Vedauwoo Gazebo
This is a Gazebo we built near Vedauwoo, WY, where the rocks become interesting. Built seamlessly into the landscape, and equipped with a stone pizza oven and grill, this Gazebo is perfect for gatherings of all sorts.
Entry Monuments & Road Signs
We've built more than a few of these. Each one has a different view, so we keep on taking pictures. We'd sure like to do a big one for a town or a park someday...

Cabinets & Furniture
Nothing beats the woodshop. After several months in the sun or the in the snow, shop work feels like a vacation. We've built all sorts of cabinetry and furniture, often for our own building projects.
Railings & Steelwork
From simple railings to custom gutters to structural beams, we find ourselves doing steelwork for most of our projects... occasionally we even do a bit of hand forging.
